Vongershan Rottweilers proudly announce the addition of CH Mipret Duuk II JGV V BA to our kennel.  Duuk is Top Rottweiler for 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Duuk was 8th on Animaltalk's Top 100 list - Showdog of the Year 2008. He is second Top Working Dog for 2008. He qualified to take part in the Super 7's event at Carnival City on Sat., 24 Jan. '09. Duuk won the Working Group at this prestigious event.

Duuk won the Champion class at the recent Grand Victor show hosted by the RWBA (V1) on 30 Nov. '08.

Duuk is third on the Animaltalk Top 100 list for Showdog of the Year for 2009. He is KUSA National Rottweiler for 2009 and he is KUSA National Working Dog for 2009.

Duuk won the SA Bred Challenge (top 32 SA Bred Dogs competing against each other) in July '09 at the Coca Cola Dome at the World of Dogs and Cats..

What Sue (Duuk's handler) has to say about him:

Gentleman Duuk - describes him perfectly. His good manners and love for humans makes him stand out among many wonderful Rottweilers that Richard and I have shared our lives with over the last 25 years. Duuk is four years old. His love of humans is very closely followed by his love for food. Any food! So Duuk and I are very alike in this respect and we both diet and exercise a lot during the show season.

2009 Was a roller coaster ride : Duuk won 34 BOB's, from which he went on to win 32 Group placings uncluding 13 Group firsts (including Group 1st at the Super 7's) and several Best in Shows. He also did very well in a few of the Invitation major events - he won the KUSA National Rottweiler title and was third Best in Show at the KUSA Nationals. He won the Animaltalk SA Invitation stakes BIS at the World of Dogs and Cats. This is always a tough one to win. He was placed 5th at the Goldfields Dog of the Year event. He was 2009 Rottweiler of the Year, Working Dog of the Year in Animaltalk and KUSA annual ratings and third overall in both these all breed competitions. It is a privilege to live with and handle Duuk for his owner Shani Smit of Vongershan Rottweiler Kennels as he is such a good ambassador for Rottweilers.

Duuk was 6th in the Animaltalk Top 100 for 2010. He was KUSA National Rottweiler for 2010 (second year).

Duuk was awarded International Championship status (2011)!!!

Duuk is now owned by Mr Dirk Marx but he is still shown by our kennel.

Duuk is KUSA National Rottweiler again for 2011.

Duuk is RWBA's top All Breed Show dog for 2011.

We're excited about Duuk and Moon's litter that we're expecting in July '11!!!
